Institute for Datability Design concludes cooperation agreement with the University of Yamanashi and Kyoto Tachibana University
The Initiative for Life Design Innovation (iLDi) Division in the Osaka University Institute for Datability Design has concluded a cooperation agreement with the Organization for the Promotion of Research and Social Collaboration at the University of Yamanashi on April 1, 2020, and with Kyoto Tachibana University on May 1, 2020. This agreement aims to improve individuals’ health-related quality of life (QOL) and well-being by studying their lifestyles and proposing innovative ways to achieve the goal.
Under these agreements, the division will pursue research to realize rapid collection of personal life record data (PLR) and expand the scope of data usage in its Initiative for Life Design Innovation (iLDi) project, which was selected for the 2018 Fiscal Year Society 5.0 Realization Research Support Project by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). In addition, utilizing the strengths of the University of Yamanashi and Kyoto Tachibana University, the three parties will promote research and education appropriate to an era in which artificial intelligent (AI) has come to the forefront.
Osaka University
will evolve research projects with these two universities, cooperating in joint research in health-related QOL, education, and well-being, as well as exchange between
university community members from the 2020-21 academic year through the 2022-23 academic year.
