Osaka University signs collaborative agreement with National Institute for Materials Science

On March 31, 2020, Osaka University signed a collaborative agreement with the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS).

OU and NIMS agreed to play an important role in the promotion of science and technology in Japan as well as the development of society through cooperation and collaboration in research and development (R&D) and human resource development as well as through use of their world-leading research results in the fields of materials science.

OU has previously collaborated with NIMS in a variety of fields. Moving forward, in order to further improve the quality of each other’s research, under this agreement, both parties will promote joint research, human resources development and mutual support through partner graduate schools, as well as mutual utilization of research facilities.
