Shimon Sakaguchi receive the Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter Prize

Professor Shimon Sakaguchi (Experimental Immunology, IFReC) was to win Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter Prize. This prize has a name of great German immunologist Paul Ehrlich (1854-1915).

Prof. Sakaguchi receives the award for his groundbreaking discovery of regulatory T-cells and the demonstration of their role in the establishment and maintenance of immunological self-tolerance and homeostasis.

The award ceremony and the commemorative lecture will be held on March 14, 2020 in Frankfurt.
