The title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor granted to five professors

The title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor was awarded to YAMAMOTO Masahiro (Research Institute for Microbial Diseases), NAGASAWA Takashi (Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences), MORO Kazuyo (Graduate School of Medicine), MASAOKA Shigeyuki (Graduate School of Engineering), and IKUTA Koji (Graduate School of Engineering).

In order to increase motivation of its faculty members and secure outstanding individuals who support university management, Osaka University established the title of "Osaka University Distinguished Professor" in the 2017-2018 academic year.

On Thursday, November 21, the Ceremony for Granting of the Title of Osaka University Distinguished Professor was held at the Administration Bureau on Osaka University's Suita Campus and title recipients were given a commemorative plaque from President Nishio.
