OGATA Koan Memorial Lecture - An Evening at Tekijuku

At the memorial service held at Tekijuku on Monday, June 10 to remember the date of OGATA Koan's death on June 10, 1863 in the lunar calendar, attendees remembered the teachings of the past by listening to lectures in a variety of different fields.

This year, a lecture was given by Graduate School of Letters Professor MURATA Michihito entitled "OGATA Koan and Tekijuku," in which he introduced the educational content provided by Tekijuku and its characteristics, as well as OGATA Koan and Tekijuku's relationship with Osaka University.
