Osaka University receives an S grade, top marks, in the mid-term evaluation of the Initiative for Realizing Diversity in the Research Environment (Collaboration Type)

On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, Osaka University was given an S grade, the highest possible, in the mid-term evaluation of the Initiative for Realizing Diversity in the Research Environment (Collaboration Type) by the Japan Science and Technology Agency.

The representative institute for this initiative, Osaka University collaborated with the National Institutes of Biomedical Innovation, Health, and Nutrition and Daikin Industries, Ltd. in order to develop ambitious endeavors toward the promotion of the activity of females researchers in natural sciences, hiring female researchers and high-ranking officials and formulating the Kansai cluster for circular education of female researchers through industry-university-government collaboration, all of which were highly evaluated.
