Study Abroad Presentations for the Osaka University Sumino Isamu Foundation for Fostering Global Talent (International Student Exchange Support Program) held

On Monday, February 26, the Study Abroad Presentations under the Osaka University Sumino Isamu Foundation for Fostering Global Talent (International Student Exchange Support Program) were held at the Co-creative Innovation Building.

Out of the 6 groups in this program, 4 groups were chosen to hold presentations regarding their research for Representative Director of the Sumino Isamu Foundation SUMINO Osamu, President NISHIO Shojiro, Executive Vice President KAWAHARA Genta, Executive Vice President YOSHIKAWA Hideki, and Executive Vice President OGAWA Tetsuo.

The themes of four groups’ presentations are:

  1. " Aiming for the Revival of Nomadic Regions from a Future Perspective ,"
  2. " In Pursuit of New Developments of International Exchange through Science ,"
  3. " Social Minorities ," and
  4. " International Cooperation for Constructing a Model Region for Environmentally-Stable Farming in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, China ")

Attendees, including President Nishio himself, had a number of questions for the presenters, making for a lively meeting from start to finish.
