President of Myanmar visits Osaka University

On Friday, December 15, H.E. U Htin Kyaw, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, visited Osaka University. Executive Vice President Ogawa, Center for International Education and Exchange Director Arikawa, School of Foreign Studies Dean Ouchi, and Graduate School of Language and Culture Dean Kimura were in attendance to speak with President Kyaw about the friendship between Japan and Myanmar.

Later, students studying Burmese at the School of Foreign Studies performed Burmese songs and traditional dances for the president.
