OGATA Koan Memorial Lecture - An Evening at Tekijuku
At the memorial service held at Tekijuku on Monday, June 6 to remember the date of OGATA Koan's death on June 10, 1863, attendees remembered the teachings of the past by listening to lectures in a variety of different fields.
This year, lectures were given by Professor Emeritus EGAWA Atsushi on "The White 'Lepers' - Fabricated Disease and Discrimination in Southwestern France of the Middle Ages," and Professor AKIRA Shizuo of the Immunology Frontier Research Center on "Natural Immunity: Recent Ways of Thinking."
