Future Funds Globalization Support Project (Financial Aid for Overseas Group Training) reports to President Nishio on their Efforts

On Monday, February 8, representatives of three student groups: YANAGAWA Saku (4th year, Humanities, School of Letters), SAKAKIHARA Mizuki (3rd year, International Public Policy, School of Law), and  TERAMOTO Masayuki (4th year, Division of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine) and their group members visited President Shojiro NISHIO to report the results of their research projects supported by the Future Funds Globalization Support Project (Financial Aid for Overseas Group Training).

After their presentations, President Nishio encouraged them, saying, "Please pass this type of project on to underclass students and to the next generation. I hope more students will go abroad to know that there are a variety of cultures in the world."

Osaka University has established the Future Funds Globalization Support Project (Financial Aid for Overseas Group Training) in order to foster the ability of Osaka University students to take initiative, to make plans, and to put them into action. To this end, OU provides selected student groups with the opportunity to engage in overseas exchange and training activities planned by themselves while subsidizing 1 million yen per group.
