President Shojiro NISHIO Gives Inauguration Address

On Thursday, August 27, 2015, Shojiro NISHIO, the newly-appointed 18th President of Osaka University, gave his inauguration speech in front of the faculty members of the administration bureau.
"As the environment surrounding national universities in Japan grows ever more severe, university operations will be at the helm. To this end, I want faculty members of the university to be unified in their efforts in aggressive university reform and operations." President Nishio expressed his determination by stating, "I want to utilize the true worth of each and every one of you for the evolution of OU."
