John Dirks, Chair of the Gairdner Foundation, Makes Courtesy Call to President HIRANO

John Dirks, Chair of the Gairdner Foundation, Canada, made a courtesy call to President Toshio HIRANO on Tuesday, June 16. Shimon SAKAGUCHI of IFReC was awarded the Canada Gairdner International Award in 2015. Shizuo AKIRA, director of IFReC and recipient of the same award in 2011, also attended the meeting to talk about winning of award, immunology research, and the quality of research at OU.
