Financial support to organizations planning events such as international symposiums -- 7 institutions selected

In order to further promote internationalization at Osaka University, the university supports education and research organizations planning to hold international symposiums and similar events for the purpose of sharing their research results and the activities of their researcher with the world and, thereby, contribute to increasing OU's presence in the world. The university will provide such institutions with a subsidy for such events. The subsidies, allocated at the discretion of the President with a cap of 2 million yen, would be designated as a budget for management of the event.

At this time, 14 applications were submitted. Following screening, the 7 events noted below were selected for financial support.
