From Tekijuku to the World Tekijuku


On April 16, at the Osaka University's Education and Research Council meeting, President Toshio HIRANO talked about measures for achieving Osaka University's aspiration to become one of the world's top 10 research universities by its 100th anniversary in 2031 as the "World Tekijuku." He also spoke about Osaka University's principle of contributing to the development of humankind and society by ascertaining the essence of things and creating harmonious diversity through scholarship.

This year, the first year as the "World Tekijuku," calling upon its roots in Tekijuku founded 176 years ago, Osaka University will continue to fly high in the world.
