Special Program on the Phased Array Radar developed by Associate Professor USHIO to be broadcast on TV!


A special television program is scheduled for broadcast concerning the world's most advanced type of weather radar, "phased array radar," developed by Associate Professor Tomoo USHIO, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University.

Broadcast details are as follows:

Date & Time: Sunday, December 15, from 6:30 ~ 7:00 p.m.

TV channel & Program Name: "The Door to Dreams +" [Yume no tobira], TBS television

The Subtitle for this particular program is: "Catching tornadoes with the world's most advanced type of weather radar!"
