Six OU students win Awards at the 2nd Science Intercollegiate

The second Science Intercollegiate was held at the international convention complex Makuhari Messe on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Six Osaka University students were commended for their achievements.

Science Intercollegiate aims to enhance abilities and motivation of science students by giving them opportunities to present their independent studies. It also aims to nurture creative science professionals capable of finding challenges, studying them, and making presentations on their research.

• Japan Science and Technology Agency Director Award -- NAKAMORI Yumi , 2nd year, School of Science
• Science Intercollegiate Encouragement Award -- TOMIOKA Makoto , 4th year, School of Engineering Science, TAKEUCHI Marina , 4th year, School of Engineering Science

• DERUKUI Award from Tokyo Electron Ltd. -- ONO Ryosuke , 4th year, School of Engineering Science

Company Award

• Tokyo Chemical Industry Award from Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.-- KODAMA Takuya , 4th year, School of Science
