Cooperation agreements with the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education and Global Leaders High Schools

On July 11 , Osaka University and the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education signed a cooperation agreement for the purpose of contributing to the improvement and development of education at universities and high schools by providing necessary responses as needed. At the same time, Osaka University concluded an agreement with 10 Global Leaders High Schools (GLHS) designated by the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education for the purpose of deepening the understanding of education and research and contributing to the improvement and development of education in 10 Global Leaders High Schools.

The signing ceremony was held at the Nakanoshima Center. Persons present were: from Osaka University, President Hirano, Trustees and Vice Presidents, and advisers to the President, and from the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education, Superintendent Mr. Nakanishi and heads of the Board of Education Office, the Education Promotion Office, the High School Department, and Global Leaders High Schools.

After signing the agreement, President Hirano and Superintendent Mr. Nakanishi shook hands, confirming the cooperation for the future. Osaka University will promote cooperation while coordinating with these partners.
