2012 Summer Energy Saving Plan

This year again, in response to requests from the government and Kansai Electric Power Co., beginning from Monday, July 2, Osaka University will implement the 2012 Summer Energy Saving Plan with specific goals and measures for saving energy.

After the restart of Reactors #3 and #4 at Kansai Electric's Oi nuclear power station, KEPCO's energy saving goals will be revised. Based on those revisions, Osaka University will revise its goals and notify OU members of those revisions as soon as possible.
