[ADDITIONAL seating for:] Osaka University Symposium on a topic requiring immediate action: "In the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, what can WE do?"

2011-4-29(Fri)

On the national holiday, Friday, April 29, Kaitokudo for the 21st Century is holding a symposium on a topic requiring immediate action: "In the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, what can WE do?" Specialists at Osaka University will present proposals for our immediate attending regarding how we can use our experience from the Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake and how we, as citizens, can assist. Specialists will discuss with general participants insights Osaka University can offer.

Please note: Due to a large number of applicants for the original announcement concerning this symposium, applications for seating in the 10th floor hall can no longer be accepted. Additional seating will be available and participation via this auxiliary seminar room will be possible. Interested persons are requested to apply at their earliest convenience in order to ensure a seat.

Strong interest has been shown in this symposium. As of Thursday, April 28, all seats in both venues have been filled. We apologize, but applications can no longer be accepted for either venue. Your understanding is appreciated.

Date & Time: Friday, April 29, 2011, 1:00 ~ 5:00 p.m. Registration begins from 12:30.

Venue: 7th floor seminar room Nakanoshima Center

Capacity of the venue: 160. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
