The scope of "Campus Members" has increased
Osaka University is a party to group contracts --referred to as "Campus Members" contracts-- with various museums in order to provide faculty, staff, and students with opportunities to be exposed to primary sources in culture, art, science, and history.
The university has been a Campus Members signatory to contracts with The National Museum of Modern Art (Kyoto), Nara National Museum, Kyoto National Museum, and National Museum of Ethnology for over a year. In April, contracts with three facilities in Expo Park (adjacent Suita Campus), Natural and Cultural Gardens, Japanese Gardens, and The Japan Folk Crafts Museum went into effect. From this coming May, Campus Members contracts will increase to include six facilities in Osaka -- two museums, two art museums, and two science museums!
It is hoped that students, faculty and staff will visit these facilities and view the primary sources on display.
