Dr. SEKI Tatsuji, Director of Bangkok Center for Education and Research, Osaka University is awarded the Mahidol University Honorary Doctoral Degree

On Monday July 6, 2009, Dr. SEKI Tatsuji, Director of Bangkok Center for Education and Research, Osaka University (Professor Emeritus, former International Center for Biotechnology Director) was chosen as a 2009 Mahidol University Honorary Doctoral Degree conferee (a total of 8 people were awarded in 2009), and was awarded the Biotechnology Honorary Doctoral Degree. This award was conferred for the substantial contributions Dr. SEKI has made to the Mahidol University Biotechnology field over the many years.

At the award ceremony, the Honorary Doctoral Degree will be presented personally by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in place of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall.
