Lecture on Human Rights Issues

Osaka University holds seminars annually to promote recognition and understanding of human rights issues. The title for this year's seminar is " Co-Creation of Knowledge and Technology – Striving for Inclusive Academia."

We look forward to welcoming university faculty, staff, students, and individuals from outside the university to this lecture.

Note: This lecture will be held entirely in Japanese. Attendance is free for this event.

1. Application Methods

(2) On the event information screen, click (Register) located next to “Event Status: Not Yet Started.”

(3) Fill in the necessary information on the registration page and click send .

*If you have difficulties entering your name, try registering using another browser or a smart device.

(4) An email confirming your registration will be sent to the email address you registered during your application. Once you have received this email, the application process is complete. (If you don’t receive an email, please contact the phone number/email address listed in the Contact section at the bottom of this page.)

2. Preliminary Webex Events setup

If this is the first time you're joining a Webex event, you will be required to set up the Webex extension on your web browser. For more information, view this file . (Installation takes about 3 minutes.)

To ensure you are able to quickly join the lecture, it is highly recommended that you perform the required setup beforehand.

3. How to participate on the day of the seminar

(1) Access the URL listed in the confirmation email sent in 1-(4) above or the reminder email sent on the day of the seminar

(2) Enter the first name, last name, and email address you registered and click “Join Now”

(3) Click “Join the Event”

*If you have not performed the prerequisite setup, you will be required to do so at this time.

*If you are having difficulties connecting, try reconnecting a few times or changing your browser.

4. Points of caution

• You can not join events from the Webex app. Please join from your web browser.

• Following the conclusion of the seminar, you will be asked to fill out a survey regarding your use of Webex. This is a customer survey regarding system quality by Cisco (provider of Webex), so please do not write anything about the content of the seminar in this survey.
