Osaka University Entrance Examination Seminar for Senior High School Teachers [To be held online on August 18, 2020]

Osaka University will hold the online seminar “OU Examination Seminar 2020 for Senior High School Teachers” on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

In this seminar, in addition to the appeal of education and research at Osaka University, OU faculty and staff will clearly explain about the university’s consideration for applicants for the Common Test for University Admissions in February 2021 and Comprehensive Selection & Admission by School Recommendation.

For Comprehensive Selection & Admission by School Recommendation, applicants’ performance in contests, technical qualifications, and results of certification exams will be assessed for screening; however, some applicants will not be able to take these because of their cancellation and postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additionally, participants will be able to hear directly from OU students about life at Osaka University during the pandemic, such as their research activity and everyday lives.

We hope that their personal accounts will help high school teachers to guide prospective students.

We'll also answer questions, which we will receive at registration and by using live chat during the seminar.

Career counseling teachers as well as homeroom teachers are also cordially invited to this seminar.
