3. Using the CESR Web Application System

Applicants enter the required information through the CESR Web Application System. If there are any incorrect information, there will be an inquiry from the Immigration Bureau, and it may take more time than usual for issunace of CESR.

Therefore, Applicants are requested to enter the correct information.

Please note that University staffs are not allowed to enter the information on behalf of Applicants.

Necessary documents for the web application system

1. Passport (You can apply for your CESR without the valid passport.
   If your passport is under proceeding, please click the “proceeding” button.)
2. Form 1: Information of Visa Application
   - Form 1 for Student Visa
   - Form 1 for Professor Visa
   - Form 1 for Cultural Activities Visa
   - Form 1 for Dependent Visa
3. Form 2: Information Sheet for the CESR Web Application
   Please refer to the Form2 which you received from Osaka University staff.
   - Form 2 for Student Visa
   - Form 2 for Professor Visa
   - Form 2 for Cultural Activities Visa
   - Form 2 for Dependent Visa
4. [When you apply for your family’s CESR]
   For your spouse: Official certificate which shows the family relationship with you such as marriage certificate.
   For your child(ren): Official certificate which shows the family relationship with you such as birth certificate.

Procedures for CESR Web Application System

Information on how to login to the CESR Web Application System can be found in Form 1. Enter the necessary information to the system according to the procedures and contents in Form 1 and Form 2.
