Overseas Travel Insurance for Study Abroad and Overseas Training

Students at the University of Osaka are required to purchase overseas travel insurance when traveling abroad for study abroad, training overseas, or other purposes.

As hospitalization abroad and rescue expenses from Japan can be very expensive, please make sure to purchase overseas travel insurance in preparation for unexpected situations.

For UOsaka students who will be studying abroad, we offer the “Gakkensai Supplementary Overseas Study Insurance” (commonly abbreviated as “Futai-Kaigaku”). When studying abroad, you should purchase “Futai-Kaigaku,” which provides comprehensive coverage for medical expenses, rescue expenses, and liability for international students.
