The Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Osaka visited UOsaka on June 2, 2026

On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Consul General LEE Young-chae of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Osaka, together with his delegation, paid a courtesy visit to President KUMANOGOH Atsushi, Executive Vice President HAYASHI Mikako, and Executive Vice President MIYAMOTO Yoichi.
From UOsaka, MA Ninshuu, Director of East Asian Center for Academic Initiatives, Institute for International Initiatives, and Professor SAKAI Hiromi, Graduate School of Humanities attended the meeting. During the meeting, they exchanged views on support for Korean exchange students and on further future cooperation.
Afterwards, the delegation also had an opportunity to meet and exchange views with Korean students enrolled at UOsaka.
