Procedures Required at the University
Inform the educational affairs division of your school/faculty that you are returning to your country temporarily, and follow the procedures as instructed.
Register your temporary return on the “Travel Abroad Registration System.”
*If you wish to take a leave of absence, please complete the necessary procedures at your department.
During your leave of absence, you are not permitted to remain in Japan as you are not engaged in activities covered by the “Student” residence status.
Please prepare for your return to your home country and depart Japan promptly.

About your Apartment
If you will be away from your apartment for certain period of time, make sure to contact your landlord (management company).
Please settle your rent in advance before leaving as instructed.
