Programs for Interaction with Local Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools
International students visit nearby elementary, junior high, and high schools to promote better communication. They introduce their own cultures and play with Japanese children, contributing to cross-cultural understanding. The program has been very well received and regarded as a warm and meaningful experience by the international students as well.
Tutor Program
In principle, undergraduate-level international students receive individual extracurricular guidance on education and research, Japanese language training, and daily life advice from graduate students who specialize in related fields during their first two years in Japan (excluding the Japanese language preparatory period). Graduate international students receive similar support during their first year after arrival.
