APRU activity report 2024 SLIM

Participation in the APRU Senior International Leaders' Meeting (SILM) 2024

The Senior International Leaders' Meeting (SILM), the annual general meeting of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), a multilateral consortium of which UOsaka is a member, was hosted by the Keio University, and held on its campus in Tokyo, Japan, from October 9 to 11, 2024. Under the theme of Learning Without Limits, this international meeting brought together 88 participants from 44 universities across 16 countries, including 32 Senior International Leaders and 38 Provosts/Vice Presidents. It was the largest and most diverse gathering in the history of SILM. Representing UOsaka, FUKASE Koichi, Senior Executive Vice President, and MOCHIZUKI Mayumi, Associate Professor at the Center for Global Initiatives, participated in the meeting.
