The University of Osaka has set up laboratory equipment for use in education and research at partner universities of ASEAN Campuses so that students from those universities can study in the same manner as UOsaka students.
Thus, the Double Degree Program allows for students from ASEAN Campus partner universities to obtain a degree from their home university and The University of Osaka (and for OU students to obtain one both from UOsaka and an ASEAN Campus partner university) by submitting different theses to both universities.
