The University of Osaka certifies its Global Student Ambassadors for AY2026
After training sessions on July 1 and 2, 2026, 17 students received their Global Student Ambassador Certification. We will work together with these student ambassadors to accelerate globalization on campus.
Global Student Ambassadors introduce the University of Osaka at the orientation session for 2026 Summer J-ShIP
On June 23, 2026, at the Lecture Hall of the University of Osaka Hall on Toyonaka Campus, Student Ambassadors introduced our university to 16 participants in the Japanese Short-stay In-session Program (J-ShIP), organized by the International Student Affairs Division of the Institute for International Initiatives. The presentation highlighted the appeal of conducting research at UOsaka and studying abroad.
Global Student Ambassadors introduce the University of Osaka in the SAKURA Science Indian University Program
On September 12, 2024, Global Student Ambassadors from India gave an introduction to UOsaka to 55 participants in the SAKURA Science Indian University Program hosted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency.

Global Student Ambassadors introduce the University of Osaka to Vietnamese high school students
On August 7, 2024, student ambassadors from Vietnam gave an introduction to UOsaka at the Graduate School of Human Sciences to a group of 29 students from Lê Hồng Phong High School for the Gifted, Chu Văn An High School, the Foreign Language Specialized School, and the VNU-ULIS High School for the Gifted, expressing the appeal of studying at our university while also describing their own personal experiences.
Global Student Ambassadors participate in EduOsaka2024
On July 10, 2024, the University of Osaka Global Student Ambassadors participated in EduOsaka2024, a virtual information session hosted by the Osaka Global Student Support Association to speak about the appeal of studying at UOsaka to over 120 participants.
Global Student Ambassadors introduce the University of Osaka at the orientation session for 2024 Summer J-ShIP
On June 18, 2024, three student ambassadors gave an introduction to the university to 38 participants in the Japanese Short-stay In-session Program (J-ShIP) at the Lecture Hall of the University of Osaka Hall on Toyonaka Campus. J-ShIP is a Japanese language-focused program offered by the Center for International Education and Exchange. Ambassadors from the three campuses—Suita, Toyonaka, and Minoh—showcased the unique attractions of their respective campuses.

After training sessions on June 13 and 14, 2024, ten students received their Global Student Ambassador Certification. The University of Osaka will work together with these student ambassadors to accelerate globalization on campus.
