OU signs Strategic Partnership Agreement with University of California, Davis (UC Davis)

Osaka University concluded a Strategic Partnership Agreement with UC Davis on January 8, 2021.

For the collaboration with UC Davis, strengthening partnership in the fields of plant bioengineering, scientific bioengineering, and smart communities is highly anticipated.

Prior to this, Executive Vice President Kawahara Genta and Prof. Fujiyama (Director of ICBiotech) visited UC Davis in June of 2019.

Online meeting with the University of Groningen

Osaka University held an online meeting with the University of Groningen, its Global Knowledge Partner, for the purpose of building a strategic partnership on Friday, July 3.

Attendees from the University of Groningen (6) included:

Attendees from OU (13) included:

They talked about the state of progress of symposiums and joint research projects as well as their development in the future, making positive proposals in order to fulfill the new potential in a circumstance in which travel restrictions are imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
