Kaitokudo for the 21st Century
supports events and lectures for local citizens sponsored by the university's schools, graduate schools, centers, museum, and hospitals as a means of contributing to society.
In its voluntary programs as well, Kaitokudo for the 21st Century develops various university-industry activities by cooperating with organizations both inside and outside of the university as well as with local municipal governments.
- Kaitokudo for the 21st Century plans and organizes Osaka University Nakanoshima Lectures , Handai-Asahi Nakanoshima Courses , and Kaitokudo for the 21st Century's i-spot Courses with the goal of bridging the university and society and providing citizens with a place of learning.
- In addition, Kaitokudo for the 21st Century actively promotes OU students’ participation in the planning and organization of its voluntary projects. It supports students' development by getting them involved in collaboration with diverse individuals and various society-university projects.
