A student from Osaka University tested positive for COVID-19 on November 12.

Details of the affected student’s activity are as follows:

The student developed nasal congestion on Saturday, November 7, and a fever on Tuesday, November 10. The student tested positive via a PCR test on Thursday, November 12. The affected student is currently being treated at a hotel.

No high-risk contacts at Osaka University have been identified.
