Case Identified on November 5

A student from Osaka University tested positive for COVID-19 on November 5.

Details of the affected student’s activity are as follows:

The student developed a cough on Monday, November 2, and a fever on Tuesday, November 3. The student tested positive via a PCR test on Thursday, November 5. The affected student is currently being treated at a hotel.

2 other OU students were identified as high-risk contacts, but PCR tests for the 2 students came back negative for COVID-19.
