A student from Osaka University tested positive for COVID-19 on October 20.

Details of the affected student's activity are as follows:

The student developed a cough and congestion on Friday, October 16, and a fever on Saturday, October 17. The student tested positive for COVID-19 via a PCR test on Tuesday, October 20. The affected student is currently being treated at home.

No high-risk contacts at Osaka University have been identified.
