Wednesday, May 6 – The student returns to Japan from a study abroad trip, tested positive via a PCR test at a quarantine station at Narita International Airport. (symptomless).
The student has remained in the Kanto area at a hotel designated for symptomless COVID-19 cases; thus, he has not attended Osaka University nor had any contact with anyone associated with the university since returning to Japan.
