Information regarding The 2025-2026 Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation Ceremony and Graduate School Commencement Ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year will be held as noted below.

Date and times
Wednesday, March 25, 2026 11:00～12:20
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Please enter the hall before 10:30 a.m.

Venue
Osaka-Jo Hall https://www.osaka-johall.com/english/

※ Each graduand may invite two accompanying persons to attend the ceremony.

Advance registration
・Advance registration is required to attend the graduation ceremony. The URL for the application form will be sent to graduating students via email and posted to KOAN.

Livestream
・We will offer livestreaming on the streaming website. The URL will be sent to graduating students via email and posted to KOAN.

To Parents and Accompanying Guests
・For security reasons, information regarding graduation ceremony registration procedures—including those for accompanying guests—is posted on KOAN, a bulletin board accessible only to students of this university.

・Please ask the graduating or completing student for details on the registration process.

Other Notices
・Use public transportation to get to the venue. Refrain from coming by car. Parking is not available and drivers dropping others off in the vicinity of the venue are a cause of traffic jams.
Attendees in wheelchairs or those who have injuries that cause difficulties in coming to Osaka-Jo Hall and wish to use the parking lot on the south side of the Hall should contact us.

・Visitors arriving in wheelchairs should use the elevator near the North Entrance and enter through the North Entrance.

・A stroller storage area will be set up near the north entrance on the second floor. Guests arriving with strollers should enter through the north entrance.

・Seating arrangements for the day are as follows:
Undergraduate graduates (excluding Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Fundamental Engineering): 1st floor arena seats (enter via East Gate)
Undergraduate graduates (Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Fundamental Engineering): 1st floor arena seats (enter via South Entrance)
Master's program graduates: 2nd floor inner stands (enter via North Entrance)
Doctoral program graduates: 2nd floor inner stands (Enter via South Entrance)
Accompanying guests: Outer and some inner sections of the 2nd-floor grandstand seats (Enter via North or South Entrance)

・At the North Entrance, the University of Osaka Co-op will set up a booth to sell the University of Osaka original merchandise. Sales hours are as follows:
Merchandise Sales Hours: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
*Sales will be temporarily suspended from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to ensure smooth entry into the venue.

・Note that the format of this ceremony is subject to change due to unavoidable circumstances.
