On July 22, the live recording of TV program titled Q-1 - U-18s Transforming the Future ★ Research Presentation SHOW- by Asahi Television Broadcasting will take place at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai!
The University of Osaka will be participating as a sponsor in this event, with President Atsushi Kumano serving as the presenter for the UOsaka Award, as well as Professor Takeharu Nagai of the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research as the Q&A specialist.
Please come and watch the presentations by the high school student participants in person.
This program will be broadcast on TV nationwide on September 28 at 1:55 PM.

Q-1 is the special competition for the “Summit Battle of Intelligence” by 9 minutes pitch that U-18s would focus on the research called by "QUEST" and present the solution that can improve the future and the world through the self-questioning against the various issues. Behind this competition, "STEAM" education and "self-inquiry" education are becoming an increasingly important genre in Japanese education. ABC TV officially encourages this education through "ASU-MIRAI Project", the special project to support the future and sustainability.
On the day of the public recording, the three finalists who advanced to the final round (Aomori Prefectural Nakui Agricultural High School, Tokyo Metropolitan Tachikawa High School, and Kagoshima Prefectural Kokubun High School) will deliver presentations with their findings.
