Information regarding FY 2022 Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation Ceremony and Graduate School Commencement Ceremony for the 2022-2023 academic year will be held as noted below.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Please enter the hall before 10:30 a.m.

Venue

*Each graduand may invite two accompanying persons to attend the ceremony.

Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19

  • We ask you to take measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, such as wearing a mask, observing cough etiquette, disinfecting hands, refraining from loud conversations, observing social distancing, etc.
  • Please take your temperature on the day of the ceremony. If you are experiencing a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher or you are not feeling well (weakness, cough, sore throat, etc.), do not come to the venue. There will also be thermal imaging cameras at the entrance of the venue to take your temperature; if you have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher, you will be denied entrance to the venue.
  • To avoid crowding, do not congregate in or around the venue with family and friends. We ask that you leave the venue immediately following the conclusion of the ceremony.
  • Photography inside the venue is not allowed. However, participants may take pictures while seated before, during, and after the ceremony.
  • Information regarding the graduation ceremony will be posted on KOAN and the website. Check it regularly for updated information. Any further changes made to the graduating ceremony due to COVID-19 will be posted on KOAN and the website.

Advance registration

  • Advance registration is required to attend the graduation ceremony. The URL for the application form will be sent to graduating students via email and posted to KOAN.

Livestream

  • We will offer livestreaming on the streaming website. The URL will be sent to graduating students via email and posted to KOAN.

Other Notices

  • Use public transportation to get to the venue. Refrain from coming by car. Parking is not available and drivers dropping others off in the vicinity of the venue are a cause of traffic jams.
  • Attendees in wheelchairs or those who have injuries that cause difficulties in coming to Osaka-Jo Hall and wish to use the parking lot on the south side of the Hall should contact us.
