The Student Outreach Film Contest is being held as part of celebrations for the 90th Anniversary of Osaka University and the 100th Anniversary of Osaka University of Foreign Studies.
This contest features 3-minute short films by OU students to convey the appeal of their research and/or field of study.
Short films that passed the first round of screening have been posted to YouTube, so please give them a watch!
These short films will go through a second round of screening by jurors from the univeristy and supporting companies and the winners will be announced at an award ceremony during the Machikane Festival in November.
What is “Outreach”?
Outreach refers to educational activity conducted by experts and research institutes in a format that is easily understood and approachable by the general public.
