Outline
In celebration of Osaka University’s 90 th anniversary and the 100 th anniversary of Osaka University of Foreign Studies, we organized a video contest, “3 Minutes of Inspiration for Sustainable Development”, among students from our partner universities around the world and Osaka University. We received over 130 entries and 69 good quality creative works from around the world. The best videos will be announced at the Awards Ceremony & Student Forum on June 25.
The event, which will be held online, aims to bring together the video producers, the participants of the contest, as well as other students interested in creating videos, promoting sustainable development, or meeting students from other countries. Also, the internationally renowned film director Naomi Kawase and Prof. Murali Chandrashekaran, Vice Provost International at University of British Columbia, will give inspirational messages to the students. In addition to announcing the winners of the contest, we will have discussion time with the 11 best video producers. We hope the event will be a good opportunity for students to meet and have a dialogue with others.
