Course Completion Certificate Program
Course Completion Certificate Program
The Course Completion Certificate Program at universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, vocational high schools, and vocational colleges (collectively referred to as “universities), was established through revision of the School Education Act in the 2007-2008 academic year. In order to promote active social contribution by universities, this program allows universities to issue, separately from academic degrees, certificates authorized by the Act to adults (i.e. non-university students) who completed a study program about a specific subject; that is, course(s) offered by universities in the Course Completion Certificate Program.
