Those who will serve as visiting academic staff at Osaka University should peruse 国立大学法人大阪大学招へい教員等の受入れに関する規程」(“Regulations Pertaining to Acceptance of Visiting Academic Staff at Osaka University”) (link in Japanese).
If you are injured or sick because of the following accidents at work, Osaka University will pay you benefits through its workers’ compensation insurance in accordance with 国立大学法人大阪大学招へい教員等災害補償規程 (“Regulations Pertaining to Work Accident Compensation for Visiting Academic Staff at Osaka University”) (link in Japanese).
- Any accidents that occurred during educational/research activity at Osaka University
- Any accidents that occurred during commuting or travelling in the performance of duties of employment (for reasonable routes only).
If you are injured or sick because of an above-mentioned accident at work, you may be able to receive insurance benefits.
