Issuing of Certificates
The automatic certificate issuing machine can issue the certificates indicated below for students. For certificates other than those listed below, please contact the Educational Affairs Division of your school or graduate school.
The Automatic Certificate Issuing Machine can issue the following types of certificates:
Fare discount certificates for student travel
<Notice regarding use of fare discount certificates>
Fare discount certificates may only be used for (1) returning home for holiday/other business, (2) educational activity in regular curriculum, (3) educational activity outside of regular curriculum, (4) taking examinations for a job search/to advance in school, (5) observations and/or participating in activities recognized in your studies, (6) treatment for injuries/illness, and (7) accompaniment of a parent/guardian on a trip. These fare discount certificates are only valid for the individual whose name is on the certificate.
Lending/giving your certificate to someone else or adding a name to the certificate is considered misuse. Please read the warnings on the back of the certificate before use.

- Certificates of expected graduation (for undergraduate students) and certificates of expected completion (for students in the last year of graduate school).
*Certain schools have requirements regarding the issuing of the aforementioned certificates; please check with your school. - Health certificates
*In certain cases, students will have to contact the Health and Counseling Center on their campus for a health certificate.

*Students in every school and graduate school can be issued student registrations certificates, fare discount certificates, and health certificates.

Notes
- Some schools set conditions for issuing certificates regarding the expected completion of a doctor's course.
- OU doctoral students who have also completed their bachelor's and master's courses at OU can have grades certificates issued for their undergraduate and master's studies.
- For certificates other than those listed above, please contact the Education Affairs Division or Graduate Division of your school.
