First certificate conferral ceremony held for the Scholarship by Daiyukyo Foundation of International Exchange, Assistance & Research

Certificates of the Scholarship by Daiyukyo Foundation of International Exchange, Assistance & Research were given to three Japanese students studying abroad. The first certificate conferral ceremony for the scholarship was held at Hotel Primrose Osaka on Wednesday, June 17.

This scholarship aims to encourage Japanese students to study abroad and to develop human resources who spread their international understanding and knowledge acquired via experiences overseas and will continue to contribute to international exchange following graduation.

2 OU students were selected for this first round of scholarships:

  • OOI Kyoko (3rd year, Department of International Public Policy, School of Law)
  • YAMASHITA Erina (3rd year, English Language Major, School of Foreign Studies)

At the conferral ceremony, KAMIURA Fumio (Chairman, Daiyukyo Foundation of International Exchange, Assistance & Research) delivered a congratulatory speech to the scholarship recipients, expressing his expectations for the recipients to achieve their study abroad goals and find success as global human resources of the future.
