Temporary changes in accepting applications for 2022 Entrance Examinations

To students who missed out on the Common Test for University Admission due to coronavirus infections

Regarding those who missed out on the above-mentioned examinations for undergraduate schools, after due consideration of the effects of the current state of COVID-19 infections, Osaka University has decided to make temporary changes in accepting applications for its February Entrance Examination while considering fairness among applicants, as noted below.

Temporary changes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

Osaka University will also accept applications for its entrance examinations (to be held on February 25 and 26, 2022) from students who were not able to take the Common Test for University Admissions and its additional examination due to coronavirus infections only when this fact can be confirmed.

In the case that students subject to these temporary changes pass the entrance examination at Osaka University, the university will accept them as part of a special admission quota separate from the quota set forth in the 2022 Application Materials.

Those who are qualified and wish to apply to OU must contact the Admission Division of the Department of Education and Student Affairs by phone (emails will not be accepted) by 17:00 on Monday, January 31, 2022.
