Shuttle Bus Service

Inter-Campus Shuttle Bus Service

*The university asks that you wear a surgical mask when possible while riding the Inter-Campus Shuttle Bus.

The Inter-Campus Shuttle Bus Service is a free shuttle bus service that runs between the three campuses -- Toyonaka, Suita, and Minoh. This goal of this service is to cut down on the time burden that comes with moving between campuses in order to secure a comfortable working environment for OU students, faculty, and staff.

Students and faculty and staff members can use these buses for attending classes, participating in extracurricular activities, and education and research-related activities on other campuses; however, neither can use them for commuting.

*Do not use the Inter-Campus Shuttle Bus Service for commuting; please use public transportation to commute to your main study/research location.

*You may, however, use the Inter-Campus Shuttle Bus Service to travel between campuses if you must attend courses on a different campus than your main study/research location.

We ask for your cooperation with the following in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus:
• When riding on an Inter-Campus Shuttle Bus, please wear a surgical mask if possible and make use of the hand sanitizer dispenser installed inside the bus.
• Please refrain from conversing at close distances while on the bus.
• Avoid riding the bus during busier hours and refrain from crowding onto the bus. Make sure you have plenty of time when riding the bus.

• Don't group together when standing on the bus; maintain distance between yourself and others.
• Maintain distance between yourself and others while waiting for the bus.
*Time schedules may be altered to reduce the risk of infection based on rider occupancy.
*In order to provide ventilation inside the shuttle bus, windows will be open and ventilation systems will be turned on while buses are in motion.

* When a bus bound for Minoh is crowded (right side, above schedule), persons wanting to get off at Suita are requested to refrain from boarding, and instead board one of the Toyonaka -- Suita buses (see Timetable #1).

* As noted above, the "D" [Direct] buses noted above go directly to their destination and do not stop at Suita. (In Japanese, such buses are marked with "直" -- not with "D".)

  • Please note that the above times are not exact; shuttle buses may be delayed by traffic conditions.

Contact the General Affairs Section, Education Planning Division, Department of Educational and Student Affairs on the B1 floor of the Administration Bureau in the Head Office (Suita Campus, Tel: 06-6879-7094) for Lost and Found articles from the buses. Articles are kept for three months. (However, cash and other valuables will be submitted to the police when deemed appropriate.)
