What are Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Grants-in-Aid for JSPS Fellows)?

"Grants-in-Aid for JSPS Fellows" are awarded to research conducted by special researchers (including special international researchers) from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science after screening by the Research Expenses Committee of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.

Grants-in-Aid are paid from tax money so researchers who receive the money are obliged to use appropriately in accordance to auxiliary conditions (for special researchers) or auxiliary conditions (for international special researchers .)

The aid shall be managed by by the research institute the researcher belongs to and the administrative work Rules that each research institute should do is specified.
