To promote Osaka University’s research findings and publications to a wider audience and further improve its scientific research capability, the university will bear proofreading costs of its early-career researchers' English theses before submitting to international journals.

Supporting open access

To promote Osaka University’s research findings and publications to a wider audience and further improve its faculty members’ scientific research capability, the university will cover the entire cost of (1) publishing its early-career researchers’ high-quality English theses in international open access journals, or (2) making their theses publish in international open access.

Supporting open access (High-Impact Publication) (on a trial basis)

To motivate OU researchers to publish their research findings in international journals and support their efforts, the university will cover the entire cost of (1) publishing its early-career researchers’ high-quality English theses in international open access journals or (2) making their theses publish in international open access.
